Contributions totaling $73,732 were received in 2022. Most was from St Catherine homeowners, generally $100 per homeowner. Volunteers canvassed each St Catherine neighborhood to request contributions. Overall, more than 65% of St Catherine homeowners contributed.
Nineteen (19) AED devices, cabinets, posts and locks were received, installed, and paid for, costing $32,602. Other expenses included Supplies and Printing, $2,742; Website, $290; and Other, $426. The Balance (Cash in Bank) at year-end 2022 was $37,673.
The “Ready-Alert” notification system is an annual expense, and actual expense will depend on the number of Responders. The first payment ($4,266) was made in January 2023. The Cash in Bank Balance will primarily be used to pay (annually, for four years) the cost of the Ready-Alert notification system.
LEADERSHIP for the management of this program worked on a volunteer basis and received no compensation.
